About the Position
Glatfelter Insurance Group is seeking an Underwriting Assistant to join the Glatfelter Public Entities underwriting team. Our new team member will assist Underwriters by entering data into the policy rating and issuance system for new business, renewals, and endorsements. The key responsibilities include rating, policy issuance, and providing exemplary customer service. You will work closely with the Underwriters to support new business and retention goals.
What We’re Looking For
Are you interested in a career in a stable industry? Do you have good organizational skills, proficient computer skills and attention to detail? If so, keep reading! We are looking for someone to join our team who has solid verbal and written communication skills along with an eagerness to learn and grow. Previous experience in a property-casualty agency or company is preferred. The ability to process a heavy volume of detailed work on multiple systems requiring considerable concentration while meeting departmental standards for accuracy and production is necessary.
This is a York-based position and our new team member will be reporting to the office at least 3 days per week.
