Job Description

Seeking an Underwriting Assistant to join our GHP Underwriting team.  Assists Underwriter by entering data into the policy rating and issuance system for new business, renewals, and endorsements.  Responsible for rating, policy issuance, and providing exemplary customer service. Works closely with the Underwriters to support new business and retention goals.   

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school with appropriate coursework in English and Math leading to proficiency in verbal and written communication skills. 
• Minimum one (1) year property-casualty agency or company experience preferred.

• Ability to process a heavy volume of detailed work on multiple systems requiring considerable concentration while meeting departmental standards for accuracy and production.
