About the Position
The Glatfelter Agency (TGA) is seeking a Marketing Specialist to join their growing Susquehanna Agent Alliance (SAA) team. Our new team member will provide both personal & commercial lines new business marketing & service required by the SAA clients, ISM partner agencies and insurance companies. This support is provided to permit the ISM partner agencies to drive not only new business growth but, also distribute risk among the strategic partner companies that both SIAA and The Glatfelter Agency work with. Prompt, accurate and courteous service is carried out in accordance with The Glatfelter Agency service principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Creates and maintains client accounts written through Access Plus for member agents within the EPIC Agency Management system
- Actively engages and mentors new member agents with regards to the Access Plus processes and procedures for submitting new business, endorsements, servicing clients written in Access Plus strategic partner carrier appetites, completeness of submissions.
- Onboards new member agents.
- Maintains strong carrier underwriter relationships
- Processes client payments as requested by the member agent or client and handles billing issues/questions.
- Accessing carrier websites to pull new business, renewal and endorsements declarations as well as pull cancellation and audit information to forward the member agents.
- Assist with any other duties as requested by RVP.
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or the recognized equivalent
- Must have or attain within three (3) months, the PA Property & Casualty Insurance license
- Three + years of commercial experience in a retail insurance agency
- Experience with agency management software desired
- Proficiency with additional applications such as Outlook, Word and Excel
- Certificate in General Insurance (INS 21, 22, & 23) CISR and CIC professional designations preferred
