Glatfelter Specialty Benefits, a division of Glatfelter Insurance Group, voted one of the best places to work for the last 16 years is seeking a Group Benefits Underwriting Assistant to our join our team!  Our new team member will be responsible for an assigned territory of our Group Life Insurance Plans and Service Award Programs to Volunteer Firefighters.    

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalency is required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
• Customer service experience in a professional environment
• Ability to work independently
• Have a positive attitude and love working with a collaborative team

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to our broker partners and clients through both verbal and written communication
• Rate and quote new and renewal group life plans for an assigned territory
• Service and process annual contributions to our Volunteer Service Award Programs
• Process distributions to eligible volunteers of our Volunteer Service Award Programs
• Follow up on policy quotes, renewals, and premium payments
• Maintain client activity within our automated systems
