About the Position

The Glatfelter Agency (TGA), a division of Glatfelter Insurance Group, is seeking an experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to join our growing team. This individual will be assigned a book of business to maintain and service.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Solicit, quote and issue new business
  • Quote and process endorsements
  • Cross-sell
  • Perform account renewal reviews
  • Run the IVANS process and match suspense items
  • Assist Personal Lines Supervisor with projects and/or special assignments
  • Participate in a continuing education in order to maintain P&C license and designations
  • Pursue additional insurance education in order to keep current with the changing insurance industry.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management

 

What We’re Looking For

  • High school graduate
  • Property/Casualty Licensed
  • Property/Casualty Licensed to sell flood insurance
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Personal Lines Insurance
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Paper Wise document management system, Paper Port document system, Applied Management System, E-mail etiquette practices.
  • Knowledge of claims process and company automation.
  • Property Inspection knowledge.
  • Must possess above excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must possess independent judgment, reasoning and analytical abilities
  • Must interact well with co-workers
  • Must be self-disciplined and have the ability to work under little supervision
  • Ability to multi-task in a busy office environment
