Glatfelter provides their insureds with comprehensive insurance solutions including property, casualty, life insurance, and more. About the Position
The Glatfelter Agency, a division of Glatfelter Insurance Group, is seeking a Summer Intern to join our Sales team. This is an opportunity to gain insight into the operations of an insurance agency. This intern will provide general support to the TGA sales team. Under supervision, this position will work on projects integral to the company's success. The day-to-day tasks may include:
- Observing sales calls with Account Executives
- Helping to research prospects
- Building lead spreadsheets
- Building presentations for meeting
- Facilitating marketing campaigns
- Attending appointments with
- Prospects
- Clients
- Presentation meetings
- Helping with submissions used for underwriting
- Community and networking events
Through our internship process, Glatfelter continues our proud tradition of community involvement. Our summer interns will be immersed in corporate culture, included in shadowing and networking events, and enriched through career development seminars.
What We’re Looking For
Completion of sophomore year in a sales/marketing or business bachelor’s degree program at an accredited college or university.
In good academic standing.
Someone who has the ability to work 30 hours per week. This will be an inside and field position from our York office location. Starting May 28th, until August.
Someone who is looking for a career in Insurance is preferred.
